The Friends' main fundraising endeavors involve the sale of books and other items. All proceeds directly benefit the Irving Public Library.
Annual Book Sale
The Friends Book Sale is held in early June. Thousands of new and used items are available at fabulous prices. Book Sale volunteers are always needed. Call (972) 721-2639 for more information or to volunteer to sort and prepare materials.
Book Sale Cart
The Friends Book Sale Cart offers bargain-priced bestsellers, nonfiction titles, children's books and quality paperbacks all year long. These carts are located at the Central Library and the Valley Ranch Branch.
